2. What data we process and why

When you contact us

If you email, call or message us (including via Instagram), we process your name, your contact details and the content of your message. We use this only to answer your question or handle your request (for example a product enquiry or a reservation of an item in the shop).

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible purchase, or our legitimate interest in answering the questions we receive.

When you visit this website

Our hosting provider automatically keeps technical log data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working and secure website.

Map on the “Location & hours” page

The map on our Location & hours page is provided by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may place cookies. The map is only loaded after you click to show it.

Legal basis: your consent. You can simply choose not to load the map.

3. Cookies

Our own website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Only the embedded Google Maps map can set cookies, and only once you choose to load it. See Google’s privacy policy for more information.

4. How long we keep your data

• Messages and contact details: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless a purchase follows.
• Data linked to a purchase or invoice: as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
• Technical log data: for a limited period, as set by our hosting provider.

5. Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers we need to run our business:

• our website hosting provider
• our email provider
• Google (only if you load the map)
• Meta (only if you contact us via Instagram; Meta’s own privacy policy also applies)

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case they rely on safeguards recognised by the EU, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have incorrect data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to how we use your data;
• receive your data in a commonly used format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
